There is no client software to install, because visionapp Secure Logon is completely server-based. This helps save administrative effort and cost. visionapp Secure Logon supports a wide range of authentication methods and can also be used along with existing mechanisms. The software includes a ready-to-use one-time password solution and a Short Message Service function (SMS).
single Sign On
Following the initial authentication, users are provided with all of the services they are authorized to use. Any subsequent login is taken care of by the single sign-on functionality of visionapp Secure Logon, which has full support for all applications that use Basic Authentication. The user no longer has to memorize or write down additional passwords.
Integrated one-time passwords
visionapp Secure Logon includes a free software-based one-time password solution for secure authentication.
End-point analysis
The end device is checked by way of a certificate, a registry value, a running service, the MAC address, or installed software including the version number. visionapp Secure Logon grants granular access according to the permissions set.
Automated password synchronization
Using the official Microsoft Password Filter, this feature enables an automatic synchronization of the passwords in the single sign-on database with the passwords in the Active Directory.

In addition, visionapp Secure Logon adds RDP support to Citrix Access/Secure Gateway and both RDP and ICA protocol support to Microsoft Terminal Services. What does "named user" mean?
- Every user using visionapp Secure Logon needs a license (e.g.: If three users will be using visionapp Secure Logon in a company, this company needs to purchase three visionapp Secure Logon 2009 licenses).
- An existing visionapp Secure Logon license can be transferred to another user if the company ensures that only the newly appointed person will use the license.
- The licensing does not follow a concurrent user model (A concurrent user model allows a fixed number of users access to the product at a given time).
- The licensing does not follow a per device mode (A per device mode allows the use of only one license for several users on one terminal or in one terminal server session).
- Users may use their visionapp Secure Logon licenses on different terminals and in different environments.
