visionapp Remote Desktop 2008 (vRD 2008), the non-free version of the very popular visionapp Remote Desktop 2008 (vRD 2008) freeware tool has met with an excellent resonance in the market, exceeding all expectations. Over 1,000 licenses were sold worldwide in just ten days and, after only four weeks, this number has increased to more than 2,000 licenses sold to over 400 companies. vRD 2008 is a powerful tool that significantly simplifies administrative access to large numbers of Windows servers and desktops through the so-called Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Also, the number of requests from partners and resellers worldwide has strongly increased in the last few weeks. New reseller partners do not require any training or a special certification, nor do they have to pay a partner fee. But visionapp also expects to build new contacts with system vendors, who could use vRD to offer the complementary benefits of a complete solution including visionapp Application Delivery Management Suite 2008 (vADM) package to their customers.
Besides simplifying and accelerating the management of RDP connections, the strongest points of vRD 2008 are stability, usability, SQL database support and security. As opposed to freeware products, the software also comes with a complete documentation and a professional support service.
