At "Citrix iForum 08", to be held in Munich from 16 to 18 June 2008, the German visionapp AG will for the first time present its innovative "1 Solution Strategy" to the German-speaking public. The "1 Solution-Strategy" is a significant extension of the "Citrix Delivery Center" recently introduced by Citrix and enables its rapid and cost-efficient installation and operation. The underlying approach ranges from the desktop to the server and allows mid-sized and large companies to set up a centralized delivery of any kind of applications, irrespective of the type application, the type of user and the workplace.
"With the "1 Solution Strategy" we offer customers a comprehensive approach to meeting their requirements as regards the central delivery of their company's applications", said Thorsten Göbel, Executive Director Enterprise Services at visionapp, explaining the solution concept. "With our widely proven and many times implemented visionapp Application Delivery Platform und its standard modules, we are in a position to rapidly, reliably and efficiently design and build individual complete solutions. This not only applies to the implementation and operation of in-house systems, but also to outsourcing, SaaS or hosting environments."
One of the pillars of the “1 Solution Strategy” is visionapp’s Application Management Suite 2008. Originally launched in January 2008, the new release (R2) of this management toolset, scheduled to be available by the end of Q3 2008, will also allow the management of virtual and phys-ical desktops as well as a fully automatic creation and management of both client and server images for the Citrix Provisioning Server. The first beta version will also be presented to those interested at the Citrix iForum 08 conference in Munich.
