The visionapp Access Portal (vAP) is a Web-based application whose process logic was developed with Microsoft's latest .NET technology (ASP.NET and C#). Using vAP, you can connect to Windows, Unix and Web applications.

Users are able to customize the application to their highly specialized and individual needs within a predefined framework. Besides being able to define favorites and integrate their own Web links, users can also switch languages, manage centrally stored files and change their password.

The configuration options are selectively limited to reduce misconfigurations and remove one of the key drivers behind elevated desktop support costs. Individual help functions steer users clear of problems and help them to resolve issues independently. A message window announces upcoming scheduled tasks, such as maintenance work, etc., to allow the user to effectively schedule their usage.
